Erica Hoelting grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from KCAI with a BFA in Illustration. Her work focuses on narrative through her comics and illustrations where she creates whimsical, adventurous, and nature-filled, illustrations full of creatures and characters. Erica also enjoys the handmade quality of various printmaking methods like relief printing, screen printing, and risograph printing where she explores all three mediums. Her work was recognized as a semi-finalist of the Society of Illustrators, 2023 William Eisner Scholar.
